So I was just eating my dinner... a broccoli stuffed chicken breast.. I started to feel a little 'stuck', so I stopped. I spit out the bite I had in my mouth (sorry) ... I was all alone, so luckily no one was around to witness this beauty.
Then I noticed my mouth feeling awfully 'spitty'. I've noticed this once before... once when something felt stuck, so I've been watching out for it since. Anyways... I spit this 'spit' into a napkin, and it just wouldn't let go off my lip! It was just the tiniest little strand... So, I swiped my finger through, to try to 'cut it off' and this stuff hung on to my finger! A little thread of 'slime' !
I know, or have read, that sliming is your way of lubing up whatever might be stuck... I understood that it came from your stomach... but I swear it was my mouth that was 'watering'. From what I've read, sliming is almost always accompanied by a PB, so I was a little worried... but nothing like that happened.
Maybe I'm wrong, and it was all from my mouth, my spit was particularily sticky for some reason and it wasn't the official 'slime' ? Could it have been a 'slime' that snuck up my throat, and I only think it was from my mouth?
Anyways... everything's fine now. A minute later, I was unstuck and no watery mouth.
Can anyone tell me where the slime comes from?
thank you,
Mandi
