OhYeah! Protein Drinks

Ok...so I really like these! The 14 oz. bottle has 32 g's of Protein.

Has anyone else tried these?

Are they are good choice for a Protein Drink?

I also really like the Muscle Milk Light Protein powder.

I'm trying to find alternatives to my one and only that I like the best that I get at my surgeon's office. That is PrescriptFit Lactose Free chocolate powder. One scoop mixes with 6 oz. of Water and has 14 g's of protein.

Thoughts on the OhYeah! RTD shakes and the Muscle Milk Light powder?

My 16 y/o son drinks the RTD Oh Yeah before workouts. But I found that the Protein wasn't dense for me, i.e., I needed more protein per ounce than I could get from that shake. I use unjury and mix my whole day's protein requirements in the morning and sip on it throughout the day. I can use 12 oz of nonfat milk with 2 scoops of powder to get 52 grams of protein. The 14 oz of Oh Yea gave me only 32 grams of protein. It is hard to fit all of the shake in my stomach during the course of a day, so I need the most dense protein that I can get. I also need to add some unflavored protein to get to my goal of 65-70 grams.

Good luck on your goals.

I love OH YEAH bars and shakes:thumbup: I have case of them. My support group got me hooked on them. I got them at GNC they also have them at vitamin shop but I dont now if you guys have that store....

I still haven't tasted the drinks. I've never even seen them in a store. I love the bars though. They are very yummy.

I saw that show on TV where they were saying Protein drinks have traces of metal in them. They said they pretty much all do, as well as some foods.

I like Body Fortress Protein Powder... 1 scoop packs 26G protein. The chocolate is great with just Water... I sometimes add a packet of decaf coffee crystals to make it a "mocha"... the vanilla is OK.. great if you want to add fruit or anything like that and I get it at Walmart.. it's $16.00 per container and lasts a long time!

If you are looking for a great tasting protein supplement, check out PrescriptFit products. The website www.drdiet.com has information on the products as well as a video testimonial from a bariatric surgeon. It can be used pre and post op. The supplements use egg protein which is a much higher quality protein than whey or soy and it doesn't have an aftertaste. You can order online or buy directly from clinics that distribute the products.

I got an OH Yeah shake at the hospital yesterday. It was by far the best chocolate shake I have tried and believe me I have tried quite a few. It was really good and had no protein taste and no bitter after taste. I got it at GNC and they also have the bars, Curious.

Isopure zero carb powder is great for mixing with sugar free flavored syrups--my shakes taste like whatever I want. I'm having a watermelon shake right now.
