PB in AM-->Reflux in PM?

Guys, I'm kinda miserable. I've got 1.8cc in a 4.0cc band and it has been a good level for me.

But this morning I PBed Breakfast (only the 2nd time I've ever PBed) and now I'm not able to drink anything because it keeps refluxing back up. I also had bad hiccups earlier.

HELP! I'm in pain and I need to get through the night and will call Dr. in the morning.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kristin,

I feel for you. :confused: This is the sort of thing, I think, that started my round of horrible reflux last summer, and that resulted in an unfill. I guess I didn't give the initial irritation enough time to heal completely.

Can you get fluids down at all? If so, make a pact with yourself to stay on them for three or four days. It's super important that you let things settle down, because additional irritation will make things worse.

Call your doctor, of course. But give your body a chance to avoid needing an unfill by babying it totally for several days. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!!

Thank you sooo much! I took some Pepcid Complete and it seems to have made things tolerable. Hopefully all will be much better tomorrow. But I will definately stay on liquids for 3-4 days because I definately don't want that unfill.

Thanks for settling my mind!

:confused: Kristin
