prescriptions ?

Banding Soon: I take Cardizem which is a time-released capsul with instructions NOT TO CHEW BUT SWALLOW WHOLE. I forgot to ask the Dr. about this. Also take a thyroid tablet, guess I would just chew that up a lot and sip with water?

With capsules, you put one in your mouth and let is sit there while the Gelatin softens. Then, just as it's ready to start dissolving, you drink some Water and wash it down.

With pills and caplets, I use a pill cutter and take one-half or one-quarter of the tablet at a time.

;-D

Sunny, I take vitamins and thyroid meds and don't have any problems with the smaller pills. Especially the thyroid tablet--that's really small. I don't have to do anything with that. I do split my larger vitamins when I'm feeling very restricted, but most of the time I can take those as well without any trouble.
