Myoplex/Protein bars

Does anyone know if you can eat the Myoplex or protein type bars 4 weeks out from sleeve surgery? I found one with 15 grams of protein, 11g of sugar. Am afraid to try it. Any experienced folks on here??

Thanks,

Stacey

The best thing to do is call your doctor and ask. If he gives the okay, take a tiny bite and see how you do. You may get very full really quickly this soon post op, so take it slowly. You may not be able to eat the whole thing. If you do, you may experience what we call the foamies. I would just try a quarter of it to start out.
