Is it okay to use Herbalife shake mixes and Protein powders.

I used them to lose wait a couple of years ago and like the taste.

Just wanted to know if these are okay to use after VSG or should I

look for a different type?

I did a quick search on the nutritional facts for these shakes.

There are more carbs than Protein.

Carbs 13grams

Protein 9grams

Calories 180

It's a soy protein which is a good quality protein, but that's a lot of carbs/calories for very little protein.

When looking for Protein drinks, I was advised to look for a protein count at least 4-5 times the count of the carbs. Meaning if the drink had 4 grams of carbs, it needed to have a minimum of 20 grams of protein.
