They are always saying the sleeve is the first part of DS. What is DS anyway? I know what the letters stand for, but I don't even know what that surgery involves. I just know that WASa said they have an problem because that surgery causes issues with people smelling bad.:001_tt2:

What is the difference between DS and RNY?

The DS adds intestinal bypass to the sleeve. They move the intestines around (i.e., they switch them) so they are all still there.

The smelling issues are only if you eat white carbs. They give you farts that can peel the paint off walls, apparently. The rest of the stuff is old news and the newer techniques mean there aren't a lot more bathroom issues than with bypass.
