Hi Folks,

Does anyone else have to get fills via an x-ray machine? I am having my first fill since 2009. My port did something funny with the weight loss and that is the only way the Dr can get to it. I am very excited because we have health insurance again, and I feel like a newbie! Can't wait!!

All my fills are done using fluoro now. Not really needed for finding my port, but to SEE everything inside. Congrats on getting back to your doctor. Best wishes

OMG that is too funny. I had my lap band filled yesterday and it had been a long time since i saw dr. due to no insurance. My surgery was in 2009 too. I've lost only 12lbs. I had 4cc but could eat anything. My doctor used an ultrasound to find the position. It was some what uncomfortable. It is tight now and im loving it.
