5 day pouch reset

I am back after a few years off. Got a slight fill about 3 weeks ago, going back next week for another. I came across the 5 day pouch reset. I have never heard of this, although my drs nutritionist said I could go on a 2 week liquid diet for 2 Weeks. I was thinking it would be good to reset my pouch. I have not had too much restriction in a couple years at least and have dieted by doing south beach diet to maintain. I am going to start tomorrow and I'm excited at starting this journey once again!

This five day pouch reset or test that I have been reading about online thanks to your post sounds very much like what my Dr. advises after a fill.

I also have found that when I lose track and I start munching on things mindlessly it helps to go back to this regimine to get me back on track again. It's also good when I have a crazy day and I might be in a place where I won't be able to make good choices or they aren't readily available.

I don't think it's a negative thing, your getting all your protein, vitamins, and it's easy to track the calorie count. Seems like a win win for me.

Since it has been so long, I was kinda wondering if there was any way I may have stretched my pouch. I think its best to know where it actually is before I get a fill and to make it as effective as possible! I am having my morning coffee now with my sugar free creamer. Have my almond milk and low carb 25 grams protein shakes for later. Plus sugar free jello and a couple soups for later. I am really excited to start over! Thanks for the encouragement :)
