Pain under left incision

Someone please tell me that I'm going to be okay. I was eating dinner out today (tortilla soup broth). Had a little pain, but I think it was due to the booth I was sitting in. I come home, and the area around my left incision, mainly below my rib cage HURTS. It isn't super painful, but I was poking around, and swear I could feel something hard. Is that my band or my port? I'm wondering if it was my port but am totally wierded out. Please advise! I got banded a week ago tomorrow. thanks!

Hi there - It is your port! Dont worry, the incision and hardness of the port sticks out like a sore thumb for a couple of weeks. I was banded March 17th and just this week I find that my port is starting to settle in for a 'softer' feel. I sleep on my left side and it was a bugger for awhile. Your body will adapt so will the port. Everything 'settles' in time.
