New...July 24th band date

New to posting, this may be a little choppy...July 24th is my surgery date. I am extremely nervous and excited about getting this surgery!!! Thought I would be finished by now with all of the appointments that the doctor wanted scheduled...not the case. The doctors office was supposed to send me more dates to go to see the nutritionist, a psychiatrist and dietitian...well 2 weeks later I haven't received any information. I called two times to check on the this paperwork and they said I should receive it soon. So, I will be calling again tomorrow. I had my upper GI last week and my blood work came back...it's positive for H. pylori - the doctor hasn't called me about it yet, so I'm not sure if I will be on antibiotics and if I will have enough time to clear the infection before July 24th. Hoping this doesn't lead to a setback for the surgery!

Does anyone have any information about H. pylori and being banded?

I do not have any other information about anything else at this point. Like I said, I thought I would be finished with all the appointments and preparing for some kind of pre-op diet. Updates to follow...

July has many people getting banded and I wish everyone good luck on their new life and journey!
