June 21st

Scheduled for the first day of summer. Diet starts on the 6th. Anyone else feel like they are saying goodbye to a lot of old friends? (Pizza, bread etc.) I realized I needed to do something when I would actually drive to a few different places to find the limited time mega Oreos.

I am also June 21st. Good luck to us! Yes, I am a little concerned about giving up some things, but from what I've read, it wont be forever and we can still enjoy our favourites within reason. :)

Guess the key is to define reason. Or to paraphrase Coleman in Trading Places. Food is a good thing taken in moderation.

I think I am am going to use a tracker like myfitnesspal. It will help to know how many calories I am consuming, especially on those days when I do have an old favourite.

I may been using myfitnesspal for some time. I killed my old account and opened a new one when I started the pre-op diet. (Day 5 and I haven't yelled at anyone or damaged physical property) I like it because it will also interface with the Fitbit activity tracker. Yes I am a gadget person..

Oh I love gadgets! I will have to look into fitbit. I have heard of it.
