    Once you are cleared by your doctor and feel well enough, you should be able to do any kind of exercise you like. I was back on the treadmill about 2 weeks after surgery. Best wishes to you!

    Walking is the universal constant after surgery. Be careful of the reduced calories and don't over do it at first.

    I agree with walking... it is the easiest form of exercise.

    You will have a weight lifting restriction after surgery. If you're thinking of joining a gym, clear it with the doctor's office before you start doing anything strenuous.

    Walking and Isometrics are what works for me.

    Be careful and take it easy you have a lifetime ahead of you.
