Barn work burns calories!

So all day Sat and again on Sunday, I unloaded everything out of my barn and tack room. Everything got a good scrubbing, decluttered everywhere! I am taking my barn back! No more dirt and grime, thanks to the pressure washer, tack cleaned and oiled. It just gorgeous in South Florida right now! I hope within the next two weeks to start getting my horses and myself into shape, once all healed from banding.

I have not ridden for a while, between back issues and weight, I did not have the balance and confidence to get in the saddle, and well, it's hardly fair to ask my horse, to pack around so much weight!

But here I am on my way, and really riding for all you non riders, is not passive activity. I promise, you burn up a lot of calories! Just cleaning on Sunday, my fit bit said I did 5 1/2 miles!

So what about you? Ready for some spring cleaning and riding? Can't wait!
