Lapband and Lupus

Anyone had lapband and have lupus? I been doing my research and just wanted to know if anyone has these both. Thanks

I know multiple people who have Lupus and the band but you definitely will want to speak to your Rheumatologist before deciding to get the band. Lupus is one of the few diseases listed as a contradiction to having the Lap Band. So, it definitely would need to be discussed with your doctor first.

I have the band with Fibromyalgia. They thought it was lupus but the test came back negative. What is wrong with the 2 together?
