YouTube

Hey everyone,

I just started my own YouTube channel about my upcoming surgery next month. I'm going to be tracking my progress every week or every two weeks after surgery. I'm doing a video "blog" to look back on in a year or so to reflect on what I have done. I put a video out just to see what people think and see what responses I would get. I feel like doing videos would definitely help people out!

If you want to check it out search: AmineTheMachine and the video is called Lap Band surgery and info. Look forward to hearing from some of you!!

Hey! I stumbled across this.. Watched the videos. Very nicely done! I'm 26 too. For some reason I didn't expect there to be as many people around my age on here.... (Maybe its because in my head I'm still that baby faced 18 year old lol) anyway.. I subscribed and am looking forward to more videos!

Thanks chick! I'm glad you will be tuning in!

Thanks man I appreciate it!! And yes girls definitely rock the guys on here lol. Yeah I wanted it to be a little shorter and plus I was a little nervous too but I'm glad I did it. I just wanted to see what people had to say about it and hopefully help people.

Amine you will definitely inspire other people! I had my surgery six months ago and I started a diary when I started my preop diet and wrote in it everyday. It is interesting, funny, sad and uplifting to read how I felt then and now. You rock and I think it's a great idea! As soon as I can get subscribed to your videos I will! Your probably feeling a little week right now but I can tell you the other side is great!! Look forward to hearing from you!

Also I have a link in my tickers if you want to watch my progress. Btw I'm doing this for myself and not trying to get "attention" as somebody that pm my inbox!! Its good to share my journey with everyone and it keeps me motivated and keep tabs on myself!

Thanks everyone :)

Thanks NTA I really appreciate you tuning in! I try my best to talk straight but I get so nervous and think I sound stupid!! I'm so glad I quit smoking and it feels so good to be able to breathe again! My dad is doing a ton better and hes quit smoking for almost 3 weeks now!

I am feeling a ton better for sure and I feel better than ever and have a smile on my face all the time! I have gotten a lot of stares and man you look good!! in the past few weeks and it just motivates me to do more. I'll be 4 weeks post op this Tuesday!! The biggest things that have motivated me is watching other peoples journeys on YouTube and just looking back at how I was in the past 7+ years. I also want to run a 5k at some point and I have started the training last week.

You just need to find the time if you live a pretty busy lifestyle! Just start out slow and then work your way up and don't try to overdo it!!

I kept a diary from prelap band and I enjoy going back and reading it and seeing what I felt. I need to write in it more. Don't it feel great to be on the other side?? I just need to get started with the exercise part! These last 50 pounds might prove to be quite stubborn to get off!
