4th fill and suddenly no restriction

I just got my 4th fill last week. Until then, I had good restriction, had to eat slowly and couldn't drink while I ate at all. I could feel the food going down. After my last fill I followed the rules of 2 days liquids, 2 days mushies and now on solids. The problem is now everything goes down too easy. I can feel it sliding down. I feel like I have no restriction at all! Has this happened to anybody else? By the way I have 5cc in a 10 band and I already called doctor and have another fill appt on the 14th. Thanks!

Does your doctor do fills using a fluorscope? I ask this because your post sounds EXACTLY like my experience. I wasn't at what I would have called proper restriction, but did have some. Then BAM, N

My Dr. Noticed I haven't been losing anything even though I am following the rules, he wanted to see more results.

Does your doctor do fills using a fluorscope? I ask this because your post sounds EXACTLY like my experience. I wasn't at what I would have called proper restriction, but did have some. Then BAM, NONE. Six months later, after several more fills, my doc started doing fills with fluoro and discovered the reason I didn't have any restriction. If he/she doesn't use it, might I suggest you ask if you can have a barium swallow to see your band and the restriction level. Just saying from experience.

Well, I am not logging everything I eat. I pretty much do no/low carbs and I do exercise. I don't feel interrogated, maybe I should start logging?!?! And Catfish... What was the reason for you? How did they fix it?

Don't let me scare you with this, but for me, my band had come unsnapped. First out of over a thousand for my doc. We....well more actually HE, kept thinking it was just that I'd lost faster than we were filling. But, first time using fluoro, it was easy to see. I WANT TO MAKE CLEAR, my doctor was fantastic about this. Never blamed anyone but himself. Hey, he's human. He got me into surgery asap and resnapped it closed. Now that I have it working correctly and can receive proper restriction, its working! :)
