My first fill

I had my first fill yesterday. I don't feel any different, although I did have just a little discomfort at dinner, kind of a tight feeling. He only put 2cc in because of the complications I had after my surgery. He thought I might swell too much. If I don't feel any change within 2 weeks, he said he'll put in another 1.5 cc. I had no pain and it was over in a matter of minutes.

What is the average for a first fill? I just wonder how much less I was given.

I thought the average was smaller then that. My doctor says some doctors use a scale that is 1cc first fil, 1.5cc second etc.... but he uses water to feel how much is comfortable. I have 1.7cc my first and 2.7 on the second. I'm feeling way tight now and I'm doing liquids.

Really? I thought I might be way behind. He had me swallow water and it didn't feel any different. And for the most part, I don't feel any difference at all. Although I have read many threads where people have said they didn't feel the difference for up to a week. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

You know I just had my first fill on Friday and I didn't feel much different either. I did taste medicine though. Anyone have that experience? I'm glad to hear other people didn't have much of a different feeling either.:nervous

No I needed to know if anyone out there has had their first fill and what their experience is like for them. It's been a week for me and not much difference for me.
