Hello Bandster Hell!

I was banded on 01/16 & up until yesterday was doing great with no hunger between meals. Haven't really lost any pounds but my clothes are getting big. Yesterday I wanted to eat EVERYTHING in sight. I didn't but boy was it hard! Today I have been starving. I go back to my dr on 01/27 & I hope to get a fill. I am dreading the next 3 wks if it keeps going like this....I am praying for tons if willpower:)

  • Yeah, about 4 months of B hell for me. But I managed not to gain weight. The band did make me feel full quicker and I think that alone kept me from gaining. And, I also started to eat healthier. More

Even after my first fill, 4 weeks after surgery and 4cc's........I GAINED weight because it made no difference, and I was allowed to eat regular solid food at that point...

2nf fill started to make a difference, 4 weeks after my first, 8 weeks after surgery.....

Something we all go through...unless you have a great deal of willpower...but then, if you did, you would not have needed WLS....

Hang in there...there is life at the other end...and it is worth it!!!!

Oh, I was in Bandster Hell for about 4-5 months, and then purgatory for 2 more months figuring out what the heck was going on between my band and myself...the band won......

Yeah, about 4 months of B hell for me. But I managed not to gain weight. The band did make me feel full quicker and I think that alone kept me from gaining. And, I also started to eat healthier. More greens, no sugars, no white flours, lean meats and seafood. It will all work out, no worries!
