kinda stuck...

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, so I've kinda been stuck at the same weight for the past couple of weeks. I feel as if I've come to a stop. I got my first fill about a week ago and I've been eating right and working out twice a day but I just can't seem to lode another pound and idk what to do... I don't feel like a failure I just feel stuck I've been banded for two and a half months so I know I'm still at the beginning of my weight loss.

Plateaus are normal we all go through them. If you're still burning calories than you consume then will lose the weight, it just may take a little time for your metabolism to catch up.

Also, you said "eating right", does that mean you track your calories too? If not, I would suggest doing so just to make sure you're not accidentally eating more than you should be.

Best wishes.

Yes I track everything I eat on my fitness pal app. I do have a hypothyroid and I know that can also cause a lot of weight issues and sometimes it takes months for the medication to really start working its just so frustrating but I won't let that stop me I just hope my weight loss starts again. Thanks!!!

Unfortunately it's a part of weightloss, even if we didn't have the band we would stumble across plateaus, you're doing everything right and I like your attitude of not letting it stop you. It will start coming off again.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
