Got My Surgery Date Today

I found out today that I'll be banded on February 25th. I'm so excited. It was the first date offered and I jumped on it.

    I know the feeling! I started the process last march...got my approval and surgery date in november. I honestly didn't believe it was ever going to actually happen!

    make sure you keep us updated! Do you have a do a pre op diet or anything?

    The pre-op diet is optional, so I'm planning on one week of Protein drink for lunch and a light supper. Next Tuesday I see the surgeon and nutritionist for my pre-op visit, then I'm good to go. I'm more anxious about the weather turning bad than I am about surgery.
