I was reading what I'm allowed to eat on the pre-op diet. I see that I can have unlimited chicken/beef broth and a green vegetable. I'm allowed 4 oz of meat (chicken, turkey, fish) per day. Could I use a version of the cabbage soup diet that contains the green vegetables i.e. cabbage, brocolli, and green beans? I will cut up 4 oz of chicken into the soup. I'm trying to find a way to trick my mind into thinking I'm eating. Would this be an option?
