Hey all I'm still looking into different options before my seminar and everything. I have some questions tho. My current insurance is united health care choice plus and in my plan any obesity related surgery is excluded from my plan.

1.) I am going to try to appeal my insurance company to pay for my band

But......

2.) if they deny my appeal they have plans to where I can drop off of my husbands and pay for my own and it's like 18.00 a week.

I guess my question is if I do that (drop my hubbies and go on my own) for the surgery and ins and outs will it be considered insurance fraud??

Then when it's time to renew my husbands and my time is up go back onto my husbands insurance

AND...... (Lol)

Does anyone know if the new Obama Care is going to cover the lap band??
