Now the wait...

Just had my last consultation, so my paperwork will be forwarded to my insurance (BCBS Fed) for approval. My surgery date is tentatively scheduled for 3/19.

How long have people waited to hear from BCBS? Also I was told for out of pocket to expect about $3000, can anyone confirm the accuracy of that?

    Best Wishes on getting your approval. I was self pay, so cannot help there. It will be done before you know it and you will be back here asking how to get rid of gas pain! Congratulations on your decision, it the best thing I have ever done for myself.
