Question about fills

I am going for my first fill on 3-29-04 and wanted to know f I am not supposed to eat anything beforehand. The dr's office didn't tell me anything. I have to go for an ultrasound at 8 am and then right to the dr at 9 (there in teh same hospital).

I am really looking forward to this. I was banded on 12/18/03 and have lost about 23 lbs, which was in the first 2 weeks after getting the band. Right now I really don't have much restriction and really want to get a jump start on losing again.

I know you probably hate this kind of answer, but one of my doctors said, "No eating before fills," one said, "Liquids only before fills," and my surgeon said, "Come into the office after Breakfast."

And they think it's the obese who are a little crazy.

Holly,

I just went to my first fill yesterday. If you read my newest posts, you know it was a disaster. My port has flipped and I need to have it repaired.

Anyway, I asked my doctor about eating before adjustment and he didn't see it as a problem. He wouldn't recommend a huge lunch, but something small is just fine.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Renata
