Port pain in jeans?

I've had my band since 5/29/12. I notice significant pain after I wear jeans, to the point that it wakes me up at night. It doesn't seem like the waistband is right at my port, but I'm thinking combined with poor posture it is.

Has anyone else noticed or experienced this?

Thank you!

I was banded 5/14/12 and I have the same issue. I talked with my doctor and he said unfortunately I will probably always have this discomfort due to the port location. He did suggested for me to possibly wear a lower rise jean. My port is just above my belly button.

Taking it one day at a time.

Most lower rise won't cause this problem, even mid rise jeans should be ok.

The only other thing is to perhaps consider maternity jeans with a soft top - we all could usea pair of these occasionally!
