What to do??

I'm almost 2 months post op. I've had one fill and definetly need another BUT my work is sending me out of town (1500 miles ) for 2 months and I have to leave on the 31st. I don't think it's gonna be possible to get a fill before I go. Any suggestions or advise?

Looks like you're on your own bro? You might check with your doc and see if he/she has any connections where you are going? Or, you may have to schedule a long weekend back home to get that fill?

Tell the doctor you will be out of town and for how long. He is the only person to determine what he can do. If he gives you a fill, it will be a small amount of saline. He surely wouldn't give you a big fill and take a chance being so far away. Most ER's in hospital are not equip to remove some of the fill.

Check with your doctor ASAP.

I would say to wait until you return and until then just be careful on what you eat. You will have the band for a long, long time so there is really no rush to fill. You can begin in earnest when you get back. Your doc knows best tho, maybe a tiny fill is in order?

Good news. I didn't get a fill before coming to North Dakota but they have a good variety of food at the man camp I'm in like baked chicken & salad bar plus they even have a gym here so I'll have no excuses. I'm staying on my "diet" & exercising so I should be alright. (-:
