I'm not one of those people, but it has happened of course. But since the band is not designed to be effective without proper adjustment, MOST bandsters will have their band adjusted several times in the first couple of years. It is pretty unusual for the band to provide any significant restriction without any fill, at least once all the post-op swelling has disappeared.
