Officially Banded - Dec. 7th

It's official! I've got the Lap Band!

No major pain. It hasn't gotten higher than a 6 on the 1-10 pain scale. The gas pain in my shoulders and back have been worse than my belly. Lots of walking around. I actually plan on walking at the mall today with my hubby.

I'm posting progress videos on YouTube if you'd like to follow along.

Bought the Lap Band Talk's Kindle book. The price is pretty steep - $29.99! Most expensive book I think I've bought besides college textbooks. It's quite helpful though, going day by day on what to expect and do pre & post Lap Band.

What are you guys using for guides to Lap Band besides paperwork from your surgeon?

Thanks!

Congratulations on your BandsterHood!!!! Personally I am close to celebrating the start of Year 9 PostOp!!! YEA LapBands!!!!

You are fortunate to have the wealth contained in your Book, I had to make do with the only the scant on-line stuff elsewhere. I wandered far & wide until stumbling upon the LBT board. The willingness to share information AND experiences not reported elsewhere, kept me on my own path of discovery.

Cheers on your new status, and cheers on your journey.

Congrats!!!!
