Has anyone had a peer to peer with Cigna? If so what was the outcome?

My surgeon has an 830 call with them tomorrow morning, all because they read my clinical notes wrong. They hve verbally acknowledged their mistake but now since it was denied need a peer to peer

I also have Cigna and I was wondering after you got approved what's the next step? Are you waiting on the coordinator to have your surgery scheduled?

Well I had some issues with Cigna during this whole thing. It took them the full 30 days to deny me and then they did the peer to peer and approved.

Because i have done all the required appointments for surgery I have reached my out of pocket maximum for the year. My surgeons coordinator usually will not schedule surgery until an approval is in hand but I pleaded my case for her to do it before the approval was here so that I didn't have to be pushed out until January and get hit with a $1200 bill for surgery.
