Popcorn?

I realize everyone is different, but are some able to eat popcorn? I really miss it and haven't tried it yet, but it seems like a nice snack since I probably couldn't eat much anyway.

My popcorn experiment went GREAT. I bought the ones Susan is talking about, the snack bags, which I loved. I did drink some Water with mine, but it was enjoyable. Thanks for the suggestion!

ISn't it really hard to eat popcorn alone without needing a drink after ... which isn't really the best thing to do unless you're just going to ignore the washing it through point.

I see a snack of popcorn as being a bit different than having a meal. I drink iced tea with my popcorn snack in the evenings. I don't worry about it washing it through because I've had all my meals for the day, I'll be going to bed within a few hours anyway, and I don't think it's such a bad idea to wash the pouch out before bed. It's drinking with your meals that is a nono because you need to stay full longer. Make sense? And you know, even with the iced tea, that small bag fills me up!

Glad you liked it Pugmum!

Kryssa, the foods you listed would be easy for anyone to get down. chips and popcorn chew into practically nothing, and ice cream is just liquid anyway. Popcorn is a great snack, and if you like ice cream try frozen yogurt or the fat free/sugar free ones maybe? Chips? Er.. empty calories. Head for more solid Proteins and you'll probably have fewer desired to graze on such things. *hugs*

I love popcorn too. :popcorn:I have had no problem as long as I chew chew chew! :blabla::blabla::blabla::blabla: Of course, I have not had my first fill yet either, hmmm.:ermm

Never had an issue with popcorn. When I go to the movies, often choose the kids pack with a small bit of popcorn, small piece of candy, and small drink (lemonade or Water.. no carbonated beverages). NOrmally couldn't finish it, but it's a nice treat.

Of course, now that I have two kids, I haven't seen a movie in a real theater in ages. Thank God for Netflix!
