Help!

What is this fishing line looking string sticking out of my incision above my belly button. It's tied in a loop an its sticking out of my incision. I would like to know if anyone knows.

It's a suture that will eventually fall off.

Yes it's a suture. Clip it off close to the skin , that at least will stop it getting caught on something and pulling as that can be pretty uncomfortable.

I just let mine alone and it fell off by its self

I just put a band aid over mine to stop it from poking through my clothes. It came off soon enough.
