So today I called my insurance again, to get a better understanding of the process. So far pretty much all they can tell me and all that I know is That the person doing the surgery calls and gets the authorization. That is all they can tell me... So it is just a wait and see until the seminar what the doctor does and what all I will have to do....

Thanks to this site and some videos I have decided that I need this surgery and I will do whatever it takes to be successful after it... I will use the tool to my advantage I will be so happy to control my hunger that much more...

Good for being proactive! I definitely recommend learning as much as you can about the band before you actually get it. I had the "eat, sleep, breath" motto in my research stage and I think it has helped me immensely.
