Just me or is the spot the port was sutured to the most tender area after removal????

    YES! My guess is because it is normally sewn to the muscle wall, which has nerve endings. Thankfully, our stomachs don't have nerve endings, so they don't hurt after the band removal. At least that's my understanding!
