yeah...I'm so happy for you I was so worried during the wait for my insurance and a wieght was lifted as soon as you get the approval so I know you are sighing with relief right now Congrats to you you're on your way

Thanks 245!! Congrats to the start of your journey.... I'll be 100% honest, I feel like I eat horribly after looking at other fellow bandsters diaries on MyFitnessPal. I eat 1200-1300 calories a day, and work out 4-6 times a week. I eat 60-80g of protien every day, 60-80g carbs, and I try and stay under 50g fat. My fitness pal is wonderful in helping me calculate everything. I have had only one fill, so I do not have restriction. It is a consistent battle, but the band has been my motivation. Am I perfect? Heck to the no... But compared to how and what is was eating preband.. I'm doing great. I've been told the closer I get to the green zone, the better it will be. Just takes a journey to get there!! A lot of bandsters choose to do the super low carb diet, I tried and I did lose weight, but I am very active, so I needed more carbs. Your best bet would be to heed your drs advice, but I went to an outside nutritionist that was knowledgeable of WLS who helped me work out a plan fit for my lifestyle.
