What Is Plication?

What exactly is plication and why would you have lap

band and plication instead of just the lap band?

    I have lapband with plication.

    I had it because I was undecided between the sleeve and lapband and this was a way to get both without the removal of my stomact.

    They fold the stomact and stich it to make it about 50% smaller so the weight loss is more than what you would get with just the lapband alone. My husband and I both had it ad neither of us have experienced bandaster hell our weight loss has been continues. Not as fast as the sleeve.

    Had my surgery on May 29th have lost 32lbs and gone from a size 28 to a size 22.

    For us it was the best decison we could make.
