Tried A Belly Dance Class Today

I went to a beginner belly dancing class tonight and it was SO MUCH FUN! Everyone was friendly and non judgmental. It works the abs, thighs, hips and arms! Definitely recommend you guys try it if you get the chance. As a woman who has been heavy her entire life I've never felt especially feminine or "sexy", but the class made me feel good about myself for the first time in a long time. I wouldn't have had the confidence to even go to a belly dance class pre band so this is a NSV for me. Just wanted to share :)

Well done.

I tried belly dance classes for a while but I am so unco I gave up. And I could not for the life of me do the belly shimmy thing or whatever it is called.

Have fun.

I'm excited to try this. One of my co-workers has been trying to get me to go to her classes with her, but I have been reluctant, but told her I would. The next classes begin in August, since I will be 2 months post surgery, I am going to try it!

Good Luck!
