Got banded in 4/08 and haven't had a fill for the last three years. Got a fill (am at 3.25 cc) on Thursday and have stomach pain whenever I lay down. I was on all liquids until today (Sunday) when I incorporated some mushy food. Things go down fine for the most part - but I can't sleep because my abdomen hurts whenever I lay down. And I also noticed a lot of gurgling noises when I tried to lay down. Does this sound like normal stuff that will go away (when??) or is my band too full?

Sorry you're in pain. That doesn't sound normal to me. Just my non-medical opinion. Maybe your abdomen pain is just a coincidence and not actually caused by your band--correlation without causation? Whatever the cause, I don't think you should continue trying to soldier on through the pain. Not being able to sleep because of pain sounds like some serious pain. Good luck.
