Walking 2 Miles

I am now able to walk 2 miles without passing out. It took me 38 minutes with the average speed of 3.3. My goal is to walk 2 miles in 30 minutes.

  • Yay!!! Great job! I was able to get my first walk in yesterday. Two weeks post op and I made it 1 mile and I wasn't tired, dizzy, lightheaded nor out of breath! Keep up the good work

  • Great job! I always tell myself" I'm still lapping everyone on the couch!" dionaw

  • Have you tried the Leslie Sansone walking DVD's? I too hate walking on the treadmill, and since I live in the Chicago area, there are 4-5 months out of the year that walking outside is not possible.

Update:

I now can walk 2 miles in 36 minutes. I also increased to 3 miles which took me 58 minutes. Wow, I would of NEVER thought that I could/would walk 3 miles.
