Bandages & Bathing

To anyone who has had the surgery already, when did you remove your bandages?

I'm 5 days post op, I've changed them, but haven't taken them off yet.

Also when did everyone start taking normal showers?

I have surgical glue, so no bandages. Do you have steri strips? I think you leave those on until they're fall off on their own. I still haven't had a full on shower (gross I know), just sponge bathing, but I think it's about time. lol

oh noooo, I took those off the first time I changed the bandages!

I think I have the glue too though, there are no stitches, hmmm

Check your hospital release form. It should tell you when you can shower and about the bandages.
