Banded May 15Th

I just got banded yesterday. It went very smooth (praise God!). I love my Dr. He is really good. I had the lapband with imbrication or i band is what they are calling it.

In a little pain. Would like to cough but it hurts.

I am loving the feeling of not being hungry. I just had my first Protein shake and could not even drink the whole thing. I have a full feeling.

As a person who has been 'hungry' all of her life, this is a completely unique experience. and one I am so thankful for.

I look forward to the days ahead. My new life began yesterday.

I will put you on my prayer list. It will all go smoothly, I am sure. Are you not just so excited for your new life to begin? Yay for us!

I was banded on the 15th of May too. Congrats and the best of luck to you :)

Band buddies! I was also banded on the 15th. My post op visit is on Monday and I'm hoping for a fill, because I have minimal restriction.

How are y'all doing after two weeks?

Apea,

You will most likely not get a fill unless your dr doesn't want you to heal. The normal time period for a fill is 6 weeks post-op. You need to heal first.
