Scheduled First Fill For Next Week..help???

Hey guys. I have been banded since 3/28/12. I am getting my first fill on 5/24. I am so nervous since I see on here alot of people have problems with their band once they start getting fills. What are some ways to prevent these issues and what would be a good amount of cc's to begin with? I don't want to be super tight since my surgeon is far away.

Everyone is different with the way thier bodies handle the fills and how much makes them tight or not. However try not to be nervous, You see alot of the bad on this site not all of the good. I have had 2 fills so far and they have both been very easy. Just remember to eat slow, small bites, and chew chew chew! My first fill only gave me temporary restriction at 4cc, my second fill totaling 6cc now gives me a good amount of restriction but definitely not my green zone. Your doctor will know about how much your body can handle. My Doc always has me down a glass of water before they complete the fill to make sure its not to tight. If they do not do this I would ask to do it anyways.
