Another Water Question

Hi guys...you are all doing great and this is a very useful forum! Regarding Water intake...I want the water but I am worried about drinking too much too fast. I haven't had any negative effects yet (I was banded 2/14.) I was told to sip and I find it really hard. Sometimes when I am not paying attention I can take 3 swallows (small gulps) at a time. Is this very wrong or if my body can tolerate it is it ok? I don't want to stretch my pouch. I don't drink more than say 6 oz in a clip (like 5-10 mins)...I do feel full, but I worry and then try not to drink water and then am dying of thirst. help!

Also, is the only negative effect of drinking water after eating that you will get hungry sooner?

Thanks!

I had a lot of problems with getting excess air by gulping. That causing burping and what not. You are pretty newly banded. I would just keep on truckin and drink as much fluids that you can. You can also try sugar free popsicles and jello..( my best friend ) lol..There are a lot of ways to get your liquids in..maybe try sucking on ice? or chewing it? good luck and congratulations
