Hi & Welcome.

I have had hypothyroidism for over 20 years. I was banded July 27, 05 and I had lost 70 pounds by the end of the year. I am still on my thyroid medication but I don't think the disease itself has affected my weight loss adversely.

Hi, I have been taking medication for hypothyrodism since I was 16 and now I am 52. I was banded on December 26, 2005 and I have lost 35 pounds since then. You and I have to remember to take our medication every day.
