Finally got a surgery date, tenativley set for April 5th. Have to do a support group meeting on the 22 and the the insurance will make a final determination on the 27. Keep your fingers crossed.

Welcome to the group! I hope you get the insurance approval that you are hoping for. It's exciting that you already have an appointment date! I received my approval in February and requested the first available appointment, which was in April.

Thank you. Yes, it's been a lengthy process, but it passed by much more quickly than I had anticipated. Let us know when you get you approval.

It took me 12 months from beginning to end, but I stalled for 2 months of that. MomaB50, the support groups are great! i've been attending for 12 months. I look forward to them. Learn a lot from those that are already there.

Hi girl79, i start my liquid diet monday the 19 but i have been doing a modified liqud (2 meal protien shakes and 1 meal ) startted that march 2.

I don't think she has joined Springers yet but her name is girliegirl.

Are you ladies on your pre-op diet as of yet? My band date is april 12th and I start my liquid diet on the 29th. Wondering how it's going for every one.

 

My surgery date is April 10, and I am on my pre-op diet, but I don't have to follow a liquid diet. I am counting calories and must limit my intake to no more than 1400 calories per day.
