Protien drinks & one called Myoplex?

Any idea on what is the best drink to supply nutrients to the body while on this liquid portion of the diet? I am feeling a little weak and shaky. I was just banded Monday morning. I have been reading a book by Bill Phillips and he says that Myoplex is a great protien drink? Any body try it? Any idea on what to do to get rid of this dizzy shaky feeling? I am not hungry at all but just feel a little out of it.

Hi Terri,

I know what you mean. According to my Dr. and the Mid Band manufacturer, I was encouraged to start on mushy foods on the 3rd or 4th day. But I know that some doctors tell their patient to stay on liquids for up to 2 weeks. I drink "Boost" Protein shake. Its thicker than Slim Fast so it gives you a more satisfied feeling.

I got that dizzy shaky feeling for a few days after my surgery. Even though it didn't taste very good, drinking some Pedialyte helped so much. Keeping hydrated kept me from feeling so weak. Hope that helps! And congratulations on being banded!!
