newbie question

Hi there

I was just banded on February 1st. The first week was fine (not hungry at all). The second week has been horrible. I am so hungry. Is this normal? Someone told me that I won't feel the effects of the band until I have my first fill. Yikes! I have lost 18 lbs. I have also been eating (jello and pudding) and drinking more that I'm supposed to but fell like its just going right through.

I see my surgeon tomorrow and I'm going to ask if I can go to pureed foods. I'm hoping that will help

I would really appreciate some advice from any experienced banders out there.

Thanks!
