Just Waiting for a Surgery Date Now

Had my EGD yesterday. Doc said things looked pretty good. He took a biopsy, and the nurse said it was probably to check for H. Pylori. So, now it's just a waiting game. Now to decide on how many weeks to take off from work. I have a lot of sick time saved up, but don't want to take too long. Afraid of getting lazy, and afraid of not wanting to go back to work. :D

I just finished my 6 months of dr supervised visits so next week we will schedule the psych and nutrionist visits then off to the surgeon for the consult then a date will be set so in the next few weeks. My doctor say that since i have a hiatal hernia that they have to repair at the same time. That i would be out 4 weeks instead of 1. So heads up ask them what they expect your down time to be. We maybe be close together on our surgery dates. I am hoping for Nov. sometime. Good Luck

I took one week off and went back on light duty for the first 2 weeks.
