Freshly Banded!

I got banded yesterday. Thankfully, I'm not having a lot of gas pain, but the incisions are soooooo sore! I just got home a few minutes ago and am waiting for the hubs to get back from CVS with my scripts. I'm sure I'll be a lot more thrilled with my decision to get banded once I'm not in so much pain.

First congrats to you!! Next for incision pain I used ice packs and a pillow!! They were wonderfully helpful

I also just got banded yesterday! I'm also feeling sore with a little bit if gas, but no huge complaints.

Well, I've been home since this afternoon. I took my pain meds when the hubs got back and ended up falling asleep in the recliner. Now I feel like I've been hit by a bus! I am using an ice pack and getting up to walk as much as possible, but my whole body is so sore!

Sore is perfectly normal. Take the meds the doctor gave you - remember to take them on schedule and not wait for the pain to start - they are the most effective if you are taking them before you have pain (stupid, but true). I do meds, ice pack, pillow on the tummy - and as much walking as you can handle.
