Abnormal ECG

I just went to the consultation for my lapband. I had an ECG done and a sonograhm of my Kidney and Gall Bladder. I am 42 years old weigh 239 and I feel in good health. I am just struggling to loose weight and keep it off. I am confused now my ECG came back abnormal, the lap band dr sent me back to my pcp. She weighed me and put me on high blood pressure medication. According to her scales I weigh 250 and my bp is 147/93. Than she scheduled me for an appointment with a cardiologist 2 days later. I went to the cardiologist and weighed 238 blood pressure was normal. He did a ECG in his office he said the first ECG looked as if I had a silent heart attack or the equiptment was nt hooked up incorrectly. I am scheduled for a stress test and a echogram for my heart now to check. Im glad I am going to have all this done, it is always better to check on the health part and be sure everything is ok. I am a little confused and I am worried because all of the what ifs. Has any one out there had this kind of experience?
